Story of Quiji

From acclaimed director, Zhang Zhimou and starring a young Gong Li. This movie takes place in China. I found this simple story about a wife who wants to find justice for her husband to be enjoyable. I liked how it showed life at a small rural village and then compared it to a big city in China as Quiji tries to move her court case to a higher level.Again, the director doesn't use fancy camera work and no special effects. It is sort of in the vein of watching a documentary and it looked low budget but it worked in telling her story to the audience. 6/10
